 Mark (Chronicles of Fuji) and I exchanged some cards recently and I received 4 additional

Game used cards for my quest.  Other trades have increased the number of cards to over 100.

National Sports Cards Convention

 Another new goal of mine is to acquire at least one baseball card from each National Sports Card 

Convention.  The First convention was in Los Angeles in 1980.  This years convention is

scheduled for late July in Rosemont, IL.

This is the 1st year I have   1983

This card pre-dates the National  It's from the Atlanta Sports Collectors Convention

held in 1978.   There were 23 cards issued, including HOF'ers, Aaron, Spahn,

Mathews, Cepeda, and Torre.   There was one football card in the set of Tommy Nobis.

Continuing the Quest

 There are over 120 HOF'ers that have been elected to the Baseball HOF since 1970.  Since I started my

"Quest" about 2 months ago, I've added 36 Memorabilia patch cards to my collection.  As I continue, I 

know it will get harder to find and afford cards for certain HOF'ers.  My quest will be fun, while 

knowing I may never complete it.   Like my "bubble" collection and many other collector 

passions, they grow while we don't know if there is an end.  Here are a couple of new Patch cards:

Game Used quest

 I recently started a new mini collection, Game used or Patch cards for HOF'ers.  I started with 31 

and have added 22 in the past month.  Two were COMC purchases and the rest have been trades

on TCDB.

A little history on Patch cards.  Press Pass started the trend in 1995 with Tire pieces on Racing cards

from cars.  Next were Upper Deck starting in 96-97 Hockey and baseball in 1997.  The three UD

baseball cards were Griffey, Gwynn and Ordonez.  Here are a couple of my recent acquisitions.

The older the player, the tougher to find and the cost rises.

Gavin works his Magic

 Although Gavin has done multiple customs for me, I'm always amazed with the Magic he performs.

His latest batch has bubbles on players with no previous cards in my collection.  It includes Ohtani

with his first "Bubble".  Reminds me of an earlier Griffey "Bubble".

New Mini Collection

 I recently decided to try and collect one Memorabilia, Relic or Signature card of every HOF'er

since 1950.  So far I have 42 cards.  There is a long way to go with over 200 HOF'ers in that category.

Here are a few of my latest from a COMC shipment I just received.

New Football bubbles are hard to find.

As I search Minor League cards to find more bubbles, I usually seek out the better oddballs

for my many mini collections.
